Meteor have dropped the price of their Bill plan €30 to €20.

    http://www.meteor.ie/plans/bill_pay/lite_sim_card/#plans-tab

This is bill pay lite option.
    200 mins
    200 texts
Free meteor to meteor calls and texts

Now it says that the offer is only for new customers

I was on the pay lite 15 option for €15 a month and wanted to upgrade.
Rang 1905 and told them I was exisiting and wanted to upgrade, lady said that it was for new customers only. So being that my plan has no contract I told the girl I would intend to cancel, then rejoin later today gainging the offer.

Understanding what I ment she quickly called Cancelations and came back syaing that the new offer was appended to my plan. Kicks in next billing date.

Also confirmed for me the new price was indefinite, for aslong as I stay on that plan, I get that price, since the plan itself has no contract.

Whopping good offer, chuffed I called and got some fantastic service from meteor.

Definitly worth a punt guys anyone looking for a quality bill plan,

To compare, I'm paying €10 more then my old plan and I used to get
    50 mins
    50texts
    Free meteor texts

****Can mod edit title to reflect the price drop, soz****

Also it comes with no data plan, but I have the 250mb for €5 which I never overuse, so my whole plan is €25, €10 more then my old one but I get so much more

Im on the €30 Lite plan and its exactly the same but comes with 1gb of Data. Again i never over use it but if the €20 offer doesnt come with a Data plan its no real use to me.

So in comparison an extra €5 on top of what your paying for an extra 750mb

Thanks for posting anyways, got excited for a minute.

The smart lite plan here for 25 comes with 1gig of data, so is the same as the ops deal(with data bundle) but has 750mb more data, plus calls out of the bundle are cheaper. Though this one could change after 12 months.

The one you linked does not include free meteor to meteor calls and texts.

I know for me anyway thats a HUGE thing with pretty much all my regular contacts being meteor.

With that bundle I'd well run a massive bill every month.

I get an itemised bill and from it on average send over 3000 texts to meteor users... , thats €210 worth of texts ;)

Not claiming it the best bundle around ( well for me it is) but I thought it a well worth bundle to mention, and especially that its available for existing customers.

I don't think I've ever seen a better bundle and I've definitly looked.

And I include when I say I pay €5 extra for 250mb of data, which I never EVEr overuse, and I use my smartphone, alot

Am I missing something or has this now gone back up to €25 monthly?

[Edit: Oh I see, they've removed the €20 plan w/o data add-on. The only one available now is the one baldshin linked to.]

Gonna go slightly off topic, but us there an iPhone app to keep track of unused minutes/texts?
I like the look of the €25 a month tariff, but don't really want to be spending more than that a month.

When you log into MyMeteor it gives you a break down of how many minutes and texts you have remaining, also your data balance. I'm on the 30euro plan and it's great especially with 1gb Data / month, ive only ever managed to use up 300mb on the iPhone.
