Fook! Just failed my NCT cos my dipped light focus was too high on both sides, have to go for a retest. You know how you can adjust the height of the dips with a little dial inside the car? If they are on the highest setting can that be enough to fail or should the range always be lower than a certain limit?

The dial in the car is for adjusting during everyday use according to how the car is loaded.
The more load in your car the lower it should go. Especially if the load is located on the back of the car (f.e. in the boot).
So when during the test car is empty, the dial has to be in the highest position.

Separatelly the dipped headlights have to be adjusted properly with the screws under the bonnet.

Get a pro to do it. They have the right lens tool.
I tried fixing it for a NCT but failed on it anyway, tricky to get it right.
