Got ON Vanilla Whey. Finding it hard to stomach the shake when made with water but actually like it made with milk.

Anyone any suggestions? Should I finish the tub with milk or what? Or make a smoothie with fruit etc

    Thanks in advance.

You could try mixing it in with your porridge in the morning. There's no harm in mixing it with milk though.

so long as you can get it into you it doesnt really matter-milks generally been my choice.
If you leave it on the thick side, freeze it and you have ice cream! It wont be HB but still isnt bad

I found the same thing with ON strawberry before - ok with milk/horrible with water.

Unflavoured whey with glucose and maltodextrin in water is really nice

Cheers. Thought I head having it with milk delays the digestion of it though. Cool, I will just finish the tub and hopefully get a more tasty one the next time.

you mean you're lactose intolerant or just aren't fond of the taste?

If the former, switch to egg protein, if the latter add fruit to the blender. Strawberries and blueberries are particularly good at disguising flavours, I have found.

Worse. Flavour. Ever. Whatever about trying to finish that tub go for a new one next. I'd recommend Chocolate Mint if you can find it.

Why would you think he was lactose intolerant?
He said he prefers it with milk.

It's just the flavour, most ON flavours are fine, but vanilla is manky. i have vanilla ice-cream here and i really can't get through it. I'm about halfway through and i'm considering dumping a pack of cocoa in there to flavour. I'll let you know if it works.

Just rock on with milk for now. THe protein in milk is mostly caesin, which is slower digesting. But that's prob not a bad thing, you get both whey and caesin when mixed with milk.
