Black Ops's second Double XP Weekend hits PC, PS3™, Xbox 360™, and Wii™ this weekend. Get double the reward for your efforts, and watch that rank fly. Participate in the glorious mayhem starting approximately at 10am Friday PST and continuing through 8am Monday PST.



Prior to the weekend, be sure to download the First Strike Content pack for a double feature of new maps and increased XP! First Strike is currently available on Xbox Live and will be released on PlayStation Network on 3/3. ARGH, Going to Dublin Friday, Back REALLY late and have to be up really early the Saturday for a trip, then time to go on the piss. I'll be lucky if I get 3 hours in this weekend! Hopefully I will complete Second Prestige at least!

I missed the last double XP weekend.

But dont think I'm that bothered to prestige again! prestiged a few times and am I'm at level 49 or 50..

Think I'll stay where I am until I get seriously bored!!

After getting all my pro perks there is no way in hell a double/triple/quadruple xp weekend will get me to prestige. If it was a week at quintuple I might give it some thought.

I'm perfectly happy sleeping on my mountain of cod points with my strela & commando by my side, whilst everyone else is a (14th prestige) noob running around with a mp5 with no attachments.

If people are doing that wager match trick for extra cod points I'll gladly double down and go around kniving others for you to give you a shot at big bucks at the start.

WARNING may knive /tomahawk indiscriminately. Especially Floyd & Paddyman.

Yeah. As what Ste ^ said. I didn't turn sign out for like 8-10 hours after the deadline and just kept playing the Nuketown playlist over and over and over again Eventually got bored and wanted to play with the lads so sacrificed myself for the cause :pac:

couldnt u just go into there lobby and still get the double xp?do u need to stay in the same lobby? can i not like just leave cod on the mp menu and watch tele then go back to it that night?

You will need to stay on the MP menu, if you back out you will download a new playlist with normal XP. You cant join people on normal XP because they have different playlist data.

So long as you do not back out into the games main menu where the options for campaign, multiplayer and zombies are on the little tv screen, you're sorted.

Yet, when I went into 2 FFA servers I wasnt getting any double xp but when I went back TDM servers etc I was getting double. Grr.
