Multi-car insurance

    Does anybody know if any insurance company will provide a multi-car insurance policy to a private individual?

    After thinking about Mini Coopers for the last hour I'm considering getting a secondhand one.

    Do I have to start a new policy for a second car or will any insurance company allow me to insure two cars under the one policy? Or will any insurance company mirror my NCB on a second insurance policy??

    Setanta will mirror your NCB I believe. Mirroring is the best you can hope for unless the 2nd car qualifies for classic insurance.

    Sorry to hijack but also interested in a second car. When you say mirror your NCB, do you have to have both policies with Setanta RoverJames? I think Aaron insurance broker provide policies with setanta so that's interesting.

    No worries:) I heard Axa might mirror ncb too but their premiums were too large for me. The high motor tax in this country puts me off getting a second car anyway:(

    The only way is classic really.

    Axa will mirror your NCB for a second car. I was coming in at €530 for the 1st car and €650 for the 2nd.

    I can only drive 1 at a time though however so I will just switch my policy over when I get the 2nd one on the road :D
