    just throwing it out there. its just the last time the price was good we all got sucked into spending money that hurt us when it crashed and all that seems to happen is inputs follows it.and as we know from ireland inc ,the higher you go the bigger the crash

    No we didn't, do you think ppl will stop drinking milk if it gets as expensive as bottled water in the supermarket?:confused:

    no but manufacturers will turn away from dairy ingredients and look for cheeper alternatives.

    it better for prices to plataeu rather to peak and fall

    was only talking about this last week.
    33 inc for feb and probally a bit more for march.
    nobody wants a repeat of the previous high low.
    some kind of buffer mechinism

    still i wont complain about a good price

    pitty its not an increase in farm profit though
    3 f's going through the roof

    if you put your milk for the year for sale in the morning , what price would you ask for and how would you calculate it.not on an agenda here just curious.

    there was an ad in the journal a while ago from the north east selling milk for a ridiculous price for the year

    i suppose if we were really smart we would put the money away in a bank acc for the rainy day but the tax man would take half of it if its there at year end.as for "the price is just the price"dont complain when its 20cent.i think the smart thing to do is not to spend it just cause you have it,easier said than done though
