According to Eamon Ryan today, the Greens have no revenue stream and no money. The party plans to re-build and will look at fundraising options.

So what would you put in the cap?

The Green Party were no more than a condom for Fianna Fail.

What do you normally do with a used condom?

    You disguard it. :p

There is a difference between the Irish "Green Party" and "environmental issues".

One contradicts the other and we can well handle the latter ourselves. :)

Rotting greens would make a nice compost pile, very organic, and even useful in that state.;)

I'd pay a tenner to kick John Gormley in the face. Several tenners, actually.

    Here's a mad idea.

Maybe they should use their own money to fund their party instead of relying on the taxpayer for handouts.

Crazy, I know, but if they really believe that they are their for the good of the country & the planet, then maybe they should put their money where their mouths are.

I'd pay several tenors to sit on him.

Whats the difference between the Green Party and the Dart?

They are both Green but at least the Dart has seats

I'd imagine many would pay tenners to watch you do it:D

Here's an idea for the Greenies, why don't they use some of the very generous pensions, paid for by the taxpayer of course, that they are going to receive, to fund their upper middle class, right on, candle light supper attending, urbanite agendas and let the rest of us get on with trying to tackle the real problems facing this country.

Is this cap made from recycled GP heirarchy??

Wuahahhahahahahhahahaha. Good. They singlehandedly wrecked the green lobby in this country for years to come. They had a nice little swap around mid government so their TD's could have an extra bite at the TD's pension, so none of them will go hungry. They were an utterly useless shower who were more than pathetic. Remember Gormley inviting the Chinese ambassador to their Ard Fheis only to stick him at the front to insult him? Pathetic little man. Fcuk em and the horse they rode in on.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

They certainly got their way pushing their upper-middle class agenda. Burying the poor in taxes and raising inflation at a rate no average worker could afford to keep pace with.

I find it hilarious that they are now not not able to fund the party that so helped create this high cost economy.

Not so smug now, are they? They were little more than a mud guard for the worst government in the history of the state. They enacted policies that seemed to purposefully piss off the electorate. And when they were called out for the useless, incompetent fools they are, they desperately tried to rewrite history and paint themselves as heroes caught in a shitstorm they couldn't control. To hell with the Green Party. I wouldn't even consider voting for them until the current party members are long, long gone.

LOL at their site. I think the people have already shown their support for them last Friday.

At first I found that funny, but then realised that actually it's a ridiculous joke, even when the Greens were the main coalition partner in government the Dart still had more seats.

Nothing wrong with being pedantic at this hour of the morning.

Completely agree. This collateral damage is particularly aggravating.

It's difficult to imagine how this small and otherwise insignificant conceited group of political wanabees could cause so much longterm damage and mistrust.

I'd put a hole in the cap.

What's the difference between my bicycle and The Green Party?

    My bicycle has a seat.

How is my bicycle the same as The Green Party?

    It doesn't work.

    Set up a standing order
    Establishing a recurring payment

It should be the other way around.

You become a mug when you donate to the Green Party.

I'd pay Eamonn Ryan €50 to fcuk off and take his mugs with him.
