    Hi

Martin on those income limits sounds like you would be eligible for a higher education maintenance grant, this will also pay your registration fees. Did you apply for the HEAR scheme?

You did not say where or what you want to study? I know some uni offers other schemes ie DCU have a subsidised accomodation scheme that is open for applications from incoming 1st years. go to DCU website and type in Access Supports Scheme. I know DIT also have a scheme they operate for local schools. You should contact the Access offices of your 1st three preferences.

    Good luck

I have applied for the Hear and also have sent in all required documents.
I am going to study a variety of course all IT related in UL, NUIM, UCD, TCD, DCU.
I looked up student finances too and according to it I am eligible for level 5 non adjacent grant that €3,250, does this mean I will revive this much money and I will have to pay the €2,200 fee for applying or does it mean I keep the €3,250 on top having that fee paid off

You should ask your careers guidance teacher in school. He should have all the information you need!
