    Hi

    sorry about the long title to the thread! anyways i am a student studying business with law in carlow i.t. I am in 2nd year and am doing a project on supervision in the work place.

    I need as much information on peoples opinions on how well they think they are supervised in work and is there a strict health and safety code in place.

    Id appreciate it greatly if people could share there views, thoughts an opinions on "supervision in the work place".

    Maybe you should set up a questionnaire / survey and ask the MODs if you can post it. People are much more lightly to answer when they know exactly what you want.

    Agreed. Wayyyyy too vague. You need to create a survey -
    As an aside statistics should be mandatory first year course for every university student.


    Anyway www.surveymonkey.com does the job for creating the survey (you end up with link you can post).
    and list the questions you have prefereably with tick box answers as they are easier to collate. e.g.

    Company Size
    a. Small (1-10 People)
    b. Medium (11-100)
    c. Large (101-500)
    d. Enterprise (500+)

    Industry
    a. construction
    b. etc
    c. etc

    And put in control qustions like above - big difference in safety in a sweetshop compared to the ESB

    I am ideally just looking for peoples general opinions on how they think supervision could be improved in their place of work. This part of my project is only a very small section and will only be a a4 page type or slightly more. I will look into doing a survey but in the mean time van people give me there general opinion on how they think they could be supervised better for better results in the work place
