My mate got to do it in December. He put his name down on a trip there last year. It wasn't exactly on the solstice though. Apparently they do it over 4 or 5 days and the effect can still be seen if it's clear. I think it's a lottery and it's reset every year so get your name down every year.

Oktoberfest - done and will keep doing it as long as my liver can. Greatest festival in the world. This is where I got my username from. They provide amazing 'lecker hendl' at the wiesn. I wish it was on now.

I done one of these lists about 6 years ago with 50 things to do before I die. I've added more over the years though so I'll probably never get through the whole lot cause the list keeps getting longer each year. I've about 80 things on it now and I've only done about half of them

Burning Man was the best thing I've done from the list too if anyone's looking for some inspiration
