Looking for help with tyres in Dublin area

I'm not sure if this is the right forum or not (Mods: I put it here rather than the Dublin forum as I figured I might get more responses) but here goes.

Ok, so I woke up this morning to a flat tyre and, you know what happened next, when I went to change it discovered the spare was also flat.

So my query is, can anyone recommend somewhere in Dublin (D1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 20, Lucan areas) that offers good deals on tyres and/or someone that might deliver/fit them as I have no way of transporting the flats/new tyres to and from my place other than a taxi.

All help and suggestions greatly appreciated!!

some kind soul with a compressor might pump it up for you and it might stay up long enough to get it to a tyre center. both tyre's are possibly fixable.

Atlas tyres which has branches in Stillorgan,Sandyford,Kimmage and Templeogue are very good to deal with and have reasonable prices. Got new Bridgestone tyres there last week for a good price, and also a free pre NCT check.
I'm pretty sure they will deliver tyres out to your house

They have a call out service, think it costs a bit more but they'll come out and fit tyres at your house or office. Probably can do puncture repair too.

Advance and Fast Fit have mobile unit's too.

Yup, either that or a can of TyreWeld.

Unfortunately, I haven't managed to locate that kind soul. The spare, I would say, just needs to be pumped as it's probably just gone flat from being in the boot (was previously used on the back until last summer) and the flat on the car is a slow puncture due to unavoidable pothole (I was forced into it by an idiot driving on the wrong side of the white line) that was never fixed from the bad weather over the Christmas (yet another example of high motor taxes being used to great effect. Not). If it was pumped it would last a day or two before deflating again. My own fault for not changing it before now I know but I had neither the time or the cash so I put off the inevitable.

Cant you take a trip and buy even a good old fashioned foot pump. A few calories burned up and you'll be mobile enough to avoid the €60 callout at least!

Atlas were absolutely useless on the phone, don't want to give away too much details about who I was talking to but the guy (who had a really strong accent and sounded like he may have had a lunchtime tipple) hadn't a clue what he was on about and kept calling me "Seamus" after some guy who called earlier and insisted that I was him. I wasn't. Also, they have a €60 call out charge and high tyre prices.

Advance tyres don't offer this type of call out service (according to their city centre branch) but the guy in the garage was an example of good customer service and apologised for me having me been misled by their call centre. The same couldn't be said about the main guy in their call centre though - he wanted everything from my credit card details to what I had for breakfast without telling me anything what services they did and didn't provide.

Fast Fit were very helpful and friendly and don't charge for a call out. I'll definitely give these guys a call in the morning and if the terms are reasonable they will get my business.

Yeah, I plan on doing that tomorrow - Googled a few places and prices earlier. Need to get the car back on the road quick though for work so that may mean a call out, unfortunately... :(

If you have any recommendations on places and prices though I'd be happy to hear them! ;-)

That's a pity that you had a bad experience with Atlas on the phone. I dealt with their Sandyford branch a few times and they have always been excellent. Not sure which one you called, but sounds like you got some eejit!!

Yeah, the guy was a complete clown but sure that's bound to happen from time to time... However, it wasn't the Sandyford branch I was dealing with.
