pain in left side

    Hi new here to boards so looking for a bit of advice so i hope this is the right forum ,I have a ongoing pain in my left shoulder and left side now for quite a while the pain in the shoulder is like someone sticking a hot needle just behind my shoulder blade and then the other pain is a dull one around my left side ,i have had xrays and nothing came up, i am quite fit and strong as i teach yoga ,i dont drink but did do a lot up till two years ago ,the pain seems to come and go but mainly it is there everyday and at the same time i sweat a lot in bed (change my tshirt every night ),i heard somewhere it could be kidney damage not sure ,any advice would be greatly appreciated many thanks .
