    Greetings guys,

I'm lactose intolerant so the paleo way of eating suits me great. (Also a bit intolerant to gluten).

I'm used to using rice milk or soy milk, but I dont think these are allowed on the paleo diet. The only way in which I miss them is in tea or coffee - is there any substitute I could use? I just like a cuppa in the morning...sometime a tea in the evening.

    Thanks:)

Have you tried tea with lemon? Different taste, but I think better than milk. And black coffee is an acquired taste, but worth acquiring.

In terms of tea I'm not too bad because I like herbal teas. Tried black coffee and cant take to it all all....its too strong for me.
Era tis not life or death, I can live without them - tis just a habit really.

I'm part way through reading Cordain's book....interested to see where coconut milk will come in. (yum ee!)

Try get your hands on some Almond milk if you want an alternative that's Paleo friendly. You'll find it in Holland and Barretts I'm pretty sure!

    Try coconut milk.

Shake it first before pouring it into the cup. If you buy it in a can, empty it into a plastic cream bottle - it'll last longer and you can easily shake it before using it.
