Condensing oil cooker?

    Hi,

I am thinking of investing in a condensing oil cooker - Stanley Brandon 80K. They are 92% efficient and I also wish to go for the zoned heating. The house I am in is 18 years old and has an existing oil boiler and we have an Aga. I hope to replace the Aga with the new condensing range and make the old external boiler obsolete. I would be grateful for any advice or to hear from anyone that has purchased one of these condensing cookers.

    TIA

Seen one in my local suppliers, look a nice cooker, make sure , check with your plumber that the condensate pipe can be gotten away to a gully etc. Also, you will need a smooth-bore flexi flue liner down your chimney too if you go that way.

Thanks kscobie, I've been told that with this cooker - it has to be installed against an external wall for vented flue - Chimney cannot be used.

My dad is interesting in on eof these Brandon Condensing ranges. But he wants to see one in the flesh before parting with his cash.
Does anyone know a show room or shop that has them on display?
