civil service internal interview

    Any help and advice would be very welcome. I am hoping to get called for an interview. I am a clerical officer in the civil service and expect to get called for an interview for a another job in the same organisation.
    Any tips?

    Is it a competency based interview by any chance? Is it for staff officer or executive officer?

    The reason I ask is because the competency framework is available on line for both.

    If its for the EO then they go off the answers that you provided in the relevant 5 areas of questions. You have your answers with you in case you forget but its really all based on the compatencies they dont really try to throw you off track. They may ask what is your biggest weakness but answer in a way that it can be turned into a positive. All in all its not too bad just appear confident and interact with each of the people on the board.
