Dozens of sitting TDs have already been sacked, and further redundancies are expected.

Obviously some are old enough and willing enough to retire in order to spend more time with their money.

But what about others? Will they just go back to their teaching jobs? Will they have to scrape a living from their property portfolios and company directorships?

Given the state of the Irish economy, will some be chasing those scarce jobs? Or will they emigrate?

Yes, I know: good riddance, just deserts and all that. But can it really be the case that all of them have golden parachutes and parallel careers of one sort or another? Does anyone have any information on particular TDs and their imminent (un)employment status?
