A tad early but there is a reason:

    http://www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.php?id=55585
Steve Austin is scheduled to appear on the 3/7 edition of Raw, which will take place at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas. The building is advertising his appearance on the show. Austin is currently taping the upcoming season of the new/old series "Tough Enough" for WWE.

They'd be crazy not to use this to set up something Rock/Austin related for WrestleMania.

It will be great to see Stone Cold again but it's such a shame that they need The Rock, Austin and HHH, 'Taker to create a buzz for WrestleMania. It says a lot about how poorly Vince & Co. have fared in developing genuine stars in recent years.

Yep, it's what dreams are made of.... Stunner into Pedegree into Rock Bottom into Tombstone makes Degag a very happy boy.

Edit to say... on a serious note if they had all 4 of those on RAW, it'd be EPIC to see them all in the same ring. Even just to see Austin, HHH and Taker if Rock aint there....

    Quick prediction:

HHH comes out to cut a promo on Taker. Sheamus interupts and points out how he took HHH out of action. HHH vs Sheamus is booked. HHH wins easily.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,289 ✭✭✭parker kent

I think if HHH and Sheamus are to fight again, it will happen after Mania. They'll probably keep Sheamus and Bryan together until Mania.

Rock isn't advertised for this show (yet), but it's a great idea to do something if the opportunity arises.

Ideally, if they were both to be on this show, I would hope that they were used in a way as to get over wrestlers in the WM main events. Obviously, Taker, HHH, Cena and Edge don't need getting over, they have been huge for years, so the perfect scenario for me (Even though realistically it's never going to happen) would be a tag team match - Rock & Austin Vs. Miz & Del Rio. Book for Miz and Del Rio to win this match, and they will be shot into Wrestlemania with a rocket on their backs.

About as much chance of DZP* getting a Tag Title shot

*Anyone who watches Superstars will know who I'm on about

doubt Rocky will be there though as
that would mean two segments in a row if his facebook is to believed, as he has said he will respond to Cena tonight via it.

Oh thank god, it's the arena event description. For a moment there i thought news reporters were looking into who's booked on airline flights

    On raw... My response

Imagine rock, Austin, taker and HHH in the ring altogether.
    Just like old times :o

then Cena arrives, and owns them all on the mic :p

and just to píss off the internet, for good measure, he charges the ring to take all four on, and they all retreat.

or he kicks all their asses.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dave Meltzer has airline workers as 'sources' :D

    Source
Steve Austin wrote the following on Twitter regarding his return to WWE RAW next week: "I'm taking a 6 pack of WHOOP ASS to Monday Night Raw in Dallas Texas...Oh Hell Yeah!!!"

According to one source, WWE has decided on who the special referee for Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole at WrestleMania will be but they have not decided on the angle that will reveal him on RAW. There is supposed to be some kind of big payoff for the special referee that may be announced as soon as next Monday's RAW from Texas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

So surely it wont be the miz? Cant see that being a 'big payoff'?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,788 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Doubt it's Miz. He's got his Mania match.

Would have said Riley before the last Raw but can't see that happening now.

My money is on DiBiase, based off the sucker punch a few weeks ago.

The whole "You'll see me sooner than you think" line from Rock makes me think he's going to make some surprise appearance on Raw before Mania, maybe costing Cena a match somewhere? For the next episode though, I'd imagine they'll just have Stone Cold further the Rock/Cena story...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

How would people feel if it was announced to be Stone Cold?
Michael Cole could mark out to him calling himself 'Stone Cole'.. :pac:

Fair dues to the WWE, 4th week in a row they have some sort of speculation flying round the ol' interwebs!

Not going to happen unfortunately. According to the Rocks twitter he can't wait to 'watch' Stone Cold on Raw which means he's not going to be there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

The picture i posted above was a bit of a "D'oH" moment for me as i thought this raw thread was the thread for this weeks episode.
There was me thinking it would go unnoticed... :o

Numerous wrestling sites are reporting The Rock won't be on Raw tomorrow nite. Thats hardly a suprise when Stone Cold is on it.Hard to know what they'd have Steve do hope he doesn't get dragged into The Miz vs Cena feud which has been overshadowed by Rock vs Cena by WWE thus far.

I hope he does. The Miz/Cena feud needs all the help it can get to make it interesting.

    i hope not.
Thats a role he has done to death already.

This Miz/Cena could be fantastic. Miz not getting the respect he deserves. Cena panders to the crowd day in day out and gets loved by all. But it's being overshadowed by Cena/Rock.

anybody notice austin in skys promo video for wrestlemania, me thinks he'll be involved somewhere on the card

On Twitter where both the Rock and Cena have cleverly continued their feud, Cena has promised something big for this Monday’s RAW. Here is what he tweeted.

And I will come to raw for bizzness. Final knockout this monday on raw. HUSTLE. LOYALTY. RESPECT.- @johncena

the writers must've had a good week. really hope they dont involve austin into this storyline.

Yeah Sheamus is eating a stunner tonite. No doubt Cena's Buisness has to do with The Rock cause Heaven forbid wwe might start focusing on the wwe title match he's in at mania in 4 weeks.

Here's an idea, will Austin become involved in taker and HHH?
Maybe not for the match at mania, but the lead up tonight?

As someone said no guest ref for Austin but as a one off promo it'd be interesting.Doesn't Austin hate Triple H though,he refused to drop the belt to him back at SummerSlam in 1999 I believe (god that makes me feel old).

I wouldn't say that would come into play tonight.
Since then they had the 2 man power trip. But I would love to see them possibly tease a hhh heel turn for the match.

    Speaking of Austin being involved..

    The Miz on Twitter
Out of protest for not getting the recognition I deserve, I am boycotting Raw tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,888 ✭✭✭Charisteas

I really don't think that the Taker/HHH match needs anyone else involved, be it Austin or Michaels.

Now that Taker and Trips have both cut their first promo on each other last week, what's the next step? More promos tonight, or singles action against a couple of jobbers to shake of the ring rust?

It might make for a more intriguing situation if neither man steps back into the ring until WrestleMania itself. Build the suspense.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

Trips will either cut the same kinda promo as last week, leading to Sheamus wanting retribution for last week's ass beating.
During the match there's some gongs and light flicker. Sheamus gets the shnaky win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,169 ✭✭✭jmolloy

if sheamus is going to be buried every week lets have some fun wit it.

The wrestler I believe they should use to bury Sheamus is Yoshi Tatsu

Why? Well there's an internet legend about the two and Yoshi is criminally underused

Wonder if Austin will get involved with Punk somehow,

    Punks Twitter;
