    Hi y'all,
the remote for my Panasonic DVD recorder, a DMR-EH58EBL model, was left without batteries for a week and has now frozen. As I also have a Panasonic Blu ray I have the remotes set to different machines and this might be a complication. Anybody had this issue before?

It since occurred to me... would I need to reset my machine? As in factory reset? I hope not!

the remote has probably gone back to factory settings. Panasonic remotes can use 3 different frequencies. to change the freq hold down the number 1, 2 or 3 and the OK button for about 5 seconds. just go through them and see which one works

You da man Moe, you the man. That worked a treat, I owe you one.
I hope things have worked out for you, let me know where you're at these days.
