I cant Understand why RTE have such Poor Quality Sound in The 6 nations Coverage, They fail to capture the Great Atomosphere of the matches, sure the commentary is clear and you can hear the ref clearly, but the sound of the Crowd is non existant if you compare it to BBC its like your watching a different game, If any of you guys on here know of anyone working in sound at RTE sport Please get them to sort it, i Love the RTE Coverage but the bad sound mixing is a pain in the Arse!!

I was getting annoyed about all the cuts in audio and the commentators repeating things every now and again but what really annoyed me was a delayed audio problem where the commentators were about two seconds in front of the video feed! i was watching on sky tho..

Yeah and what was up with being able to hear two different commentators at the same time for a few minutes at the start?

They were getting the BBC commentary for some reason, I think.

RTE are making cuts like most of the country, and are using cheap audio equipment in my opinion

I always watch footy on itv since the picture quality there always seems to be off much better quality.

there's no reduction in running costs by downgrading sound gear.

the mix would be a production issue. i'm never really to bothered by the lack of crowd sound. i want to hear the commentary.

The sound and picture quality looks **** these days if you're switching between BBC 1 HD and RTE 2...
