A current look at Politics in Ireland.

After a long winded 'discussion' about politics in the taxi with Lorcan and Ciaran I fully know what should be done.... Cut Dole, Cut College Fee's, introduce means tests for dole and stop paying 'landlords' extortionate fee's to live in their houses, seriously, who on earth going by recent economic cuts should be able to afford 1200 a month other than people who're earning 200 quid a week sitting on their arses contributing nothing to society other than taking up space and taking money from the state and putting it into the landlords pockets, nothings to be achieved by people paying twice the price for other people's means, seriously hope the new government do something other than continuing to cut the lower middle classes wage and increasing the gap between lower and upper class completely destroying the 'middle class', Ireland shouldn't be considered for building a business, no incentives, no grants, just free money to the free loaders, if money was an incentive throughout college/secondary school the national IQ of 97 would be much higher, actually, I'd be surprised if people of such an IQ would be able to read this much... But, as an aside, I honestly hope the new government grow a ****ing pair and do what needs to be done, its disgraceful that some lad who has a kid and is 18 living in social housing with his pregnant girlfriend gets more a week than me while I work 16 hours a week and go to college, learning has repercussions and doing nothing is rewarded, sooner or later the 100+ IQ group will realise that sitting on your arse doing nothing is more beneficial to yourself than working 40+ hours a week in a serious job, something should be done and if its not, the country will become a bigger sham than what it already is, it will become a haven for lazy slobs all around the world, a means has to be done, regardless of capability, throughout your life you've been taught nothing comes free, its about time the freeloaders learn what this saying means.

I'm surprised that somebody that derides people who have an average IQ of 97 (90 - 110 is considered to be of normal or average intelligence) can't use paragraphs.

You would consider that worthy of more than one paragraph?

I'd doubt very much a person's IQ has anything to do with their ability to read this much. Did you have to sell all your full stops to make ends meet OP ?

Everybody in Ireland who's earning slightly more than the dole should resign and go on the dole.

let workers from other EU countries flood in and take the jobs and let them support the people on the dole.

Ireland sounds like a big joke.

    Yes.
Dole is means tested for jsa.
Also, who gets 1200 rent supplement? Think the limits fall below that.
Don't disagree that changes need to be made, can't see Fine Gael doing much different though, more of the same.

I love how you use the IQ test so much through your article.

According to it I have one of 140 and even I think its a load of bollocks.THe average IQ raises ever few years,Nothing to do with intelligence but a type of problem solving which is more common in modern days.In the past the average IQ was around 70.By todays standard thats one of a person who is mentally handicapped.Yet we know that people in the past werent all "special".

On average people doing nothing that are not actively seeking work are either lazy or simply cannot do it or make time(Either through Medical conditions,Family etc). The later should by all means get support but those that are not seeking work as of laziness should not get that much,Sure enough to survive but thats it.

An in many cases that is whats happening now. Those who are sitting on their arse that I know are getting 20-40 euro a week. These are people aged 19 to 20 and rightly dont deserve to get much money as they are lazy!

That lad thats 18,lives in social housing and has a kid has feck all money.Thats his situation,He's ****ed.You;ll be making money ina few years he wont.He gets **** all now and **** all later.I'm not saying anything bad against young parents or those who left school or didnt go to further education but simply saying think a bit more would ya :P

Whatever about paragraphs, you should have used more than one sentence.

Ah, leave the child alone. Look at the time of his post. He's probably still pissed after a good night out with Lorcan and Ciaran. He will probably regret this this when he grows up, graduates and finds himself on benefit. On benefit because he can't get a job because no employer can understand his job application.
But it is nice to see that college allows someone called Paddy associate with the Lorcans and Ciarans of this world. Unfortunately, given the current reputation of the Irish in the world, being named Paddy will hamper his progress in the world. So, a name change will be in order.
A word of advice to Paddy : Pick a new name with one sylable.
