I actually don't know **** all Orbital but what I do know is magic. Just the other day a mate played me this track.

Kind of reminds of Krafterk but it still retains originality for me. One of those tracks that I just loved first time I heard it! So I'll look out for the new album!

Kinda interesting, can't help but feel though that they should have just stayed retired... I just hope its not one of these come-back albums that features a sht load of guest vocalists.

I was going to say something similar. They really should have left it. Just look at Underworld and that dire **** they put out recently.

Yeah that was bad alright, a relative gave me a present of it at Christmas, I got as far as about the 3rd track before I had to switch it off.

    Interesting video diary alright

They seemed to have lost the passion a few years ago, to be honest (and I was a massive Orbital fan), the last couple of albums were fairly pants, bar a couple of tracks

Will reserve judgement, put it that way.

On the other hand, if they were playing in town, I'd have to go just for the memories

Those pair really did watch a little too much Doctor Who as kids though didn't they!

Middle of Nowhere wasn't bad, I was at the olympic for the gig supporting that. Didn't bother with anything after that. Like you say, they seemed to lose all passion for it...

The Doctor who theme thing was terrible...

yea I liked Middle of Nowhere, not much after. Was at that gig too - where the sound went on them for 10 minutes? Really respected them after that, they were so apologetic and genuinely embarrassed, and they blew the roof off afterwards!

I must have been at the other night. They played two nights at the Olympia for that tour. Absolutely Epic!

    this.

I remember reading in a interview they gave a good few years ago and it was like 'this started off as a hobby and became a job'.

    enough said really.

the whole point of dance music is that its groundbreaking music which means it needs new young faces coming in, yet we all worship all the legends and they're constantly plodded out, to the detriment of actual talent.
