First Earlies - when to plant

    I have been chitting my seed potatoes for 3-4 weeks and they have some nige strong green shoots (5-6mm) long. When do you thing would be a good time to plant them? Mid-March??

    yip, around mid March, just get the ground ready for them for now :)

    Cheers. The ground is ready . . . I've got the back painsfrom it :(. Temp is due to drop a few degrees for the next week but hopfully it will be a nice March.

    mid to late march should be fine just watch the weather for any frost
