    Hi,

I have an interview with Dell and as part of the interview I must complete a technical test.

Technical test – This will be a multiple choice test of around 20 questions which will focus on (a) Applications/Software (b) Virtualisation (c) Hardware (d) Networking. Please see attachment of sample questions.

Any Idea's what kind of questions could be asked?

The position is for a Dell Graduate Technical Sales Role.

    Thank you.

Hey OP, maybe have a look online to see possible technical questions that could be asked. It be worthwhile looking back over your college notes and projects as well as and previous work experiencein IT if you have so as to what you did and learnt.

It be a good idea maybe to get a Compita + A cert book might have relevant questions you could have a look at and revise which would be very helpful for a test like you have mentioned but what you studied in college would be very important for that kind of test.

    Good luck!

Is this a 3 hour assessment centre?

If so this was the first interview I did after finishing college. I wont be much help as regard to the technical test as I have forgotten all of it. But I do remember not knowing a lot of stuff on it and I have done a Computer Science degree but then again I didnt but any effort into the AC.

7 or so months later I am still waiting to hear back how I did :D

How many sample questions were in the attachement? If more than one or two they should give you a fair idea of the type of questions being asked.
