I don't know if Charlie Sheen is ready to fight Chuck Lorre in an octagon ring just yet. I think Charlie should be given a warm up match first. Possibly against either Brock Lesnar or Cain Velasquez. Then he'll be ready to fight Chuck:D

Jake reminds him of his own son... One very good reason not to watch that show any more.

I just checked who Chuck Lorre is and what shows he is responsible for. There is a special place in hell waiting for him.

The guy's a hero, if only for his retort when asked about being on probation following a drink and drugs binge that nearly killed him: "Probation smobation"

With all the smug bullsh!t artists in Hollywood, I love these childlike drunkards who take the p!ss and exploit the fortunate situation they find themselves in.

F**k it, it's a badly written show and he's the main reason for it's success.

The guys made a mint from the show by playing himself on camera, he's a drunk, moody womaniser but he's made a great life for himself off the back of little talent, a famous last name and a good-looking face; anyone who has carved out such an enviable life with little effort gets my respect.

What does the half man represent?

Is it that Jake is a child, therefore he is only half a man or is it that Jake only stays with them at the weekends, therefore he only lives there half the time?

I don't watch it much but I see the odd episode and find it amusing.
There's hot women in it all the time too.

I always thought it represented the fact that Jake is a child, and Charlie and his brother are men living in one house.

Charlie Sheen deserves credit for being absolutely hilarious. Not on the show, of course not. and curing his addiction in a nano second is impressive

unchecked ego, delusions of grandeur, out of his mind on coke and whatever other drugs he's on, etc.

Platoon, Wall street, the hot shot series...I find it impossible to dislike the guy, even if his brain appears to be melting.

the show was **** though, good oul charlie will find something new in no time and the fat kid and the other guy will have their career slide downhill.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,398 ✭✭✭whatdoicare

I take it there's gonna be a real life show about him soon enough....like the kardashians, osbournes or some other ****e that I can't think of right now.

Actually, it could be funny....like two and a half men without the annnoying characters.....he should invite yer one who plays Bertha to live with him! Comedy gold!

The fat kid has already jumped ship into Nickelodeon.

At this stage, 2 and a half men has stopped being a comedy and become a documentary.

If I was a shareholder in CBS/warner bros I would be furious with this decision. Two and a half men is a money making machine, yet the network executives have let their ego and arrogance get in the way here. Heads should roll for whoever made this decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 304 ✭✭mfdc

I'm not sure if he deserves any credit, it's not like he's done this out of the goodness of his heart. Purely rational decision for him; he can't be arsing about making TV shows, he's too busy on holiday having fun with his kid's nanny, his ex wife, and a porn star.
