I have a DV6115eu, which is an AMD based one. These are known to have a lot of problems with the gpu. Unfortunatly, mine is included. The laptop is fine, except for the gpu. I was considering taking out the gpu, and replacing it with a €20 reballed one from eBay, or if it would fit an Intel version of the DV6000, ie. replace motherboard and cpu.

If your gpu is gone it means a new motherboard you cant just change the gpu.

But if you heated the gpu up again, could it be removed? I've already done the reflow process, but that didn't last very long.

Here are some pictures of the motherboard (Which is now resting in an anti static bag :P ). I can't seem to find a model number on it? What motherboard do I need. Surely a direct replacement would also be a bad idea as it would just break again? There also seems to be a spot where a graphics card could be added, am I right in saying that? (First picture)
