I am wondering does anyone know who Old Mr Brennan is? Is there a few of them or is it the same geezer for years?
Has he done any other acting jobs?

I'd just like to point out that nobody plays Old Mr. Brennan.

You never actually hear Old Mr. Brennan talking in those ads, they are in fact all narrated by Old Mr Brennan's unnamed friend.

Old Mr Brennan could sound like a castrato for all we know.

The chap who does the voice was on the radio a while back complaining that serious voice actors are now losing out to the likes of Tom Dunne and Ray Foley etc. as voice talent. Sounded like a right prick.

But anyhoo, I can't stand the ads and as a result dont buy brennans bread.

It's a little known fact but if you find yourself on trial in this country you can get off scott-free by saying "fúck off and mind your own fúcking business" whilst under questioning. (It must however be an accurate impression to work).

Ryan Turdity used to do the voice afaik until he turned 12.

I hate those ads and the stupid words contained therein - "whistler", "chisler" and other such nonsense it's just gone on too long - puts me off buying Brennan's bread - it actually does - when I see the yellow pack of their sliced pan when shopping I will think - "them cnuts insist on putting those annoying ads on the radio, I will not knowingly support that crap" - hence opposite effect of what they were hoping !
