Normally I'd walk away but I've a chance to get a 50" TV at a great price so I'd like to look into it a bit more.…

Are these repairable. I'm fairly handy with electics and would give it a go if its straight forward. There is nothing currently wrong with it.

What are the things to check. What hours do these bulbs fail at etc.

Any advise at all would be greatly appreciated.
