    who will this benefit?
will it be FF because of possible lower turnout, and the have their hardcore supporters anyway?
will it have undecided voters in a bad mood going into the stations, and work in favour of independents/the far left (protest votes)?

Excellent news, the grey vote will stay away-can't see this being good for Fianna Fail.

Hate to sound biased but I hope it pours.

Not a lot of rain,a few hours apparently for everybody.
Dry early in the west,by afternoon in the midlands and dry in the evening in the east.

If it'll benefit anyone it'd be Labour, don't think it'll be enough to make a huge difference though.

Rain will definitely suit Fianna Fail. They would tend to be a tougher crowd by and large. The under 25's are too soft and when they get up around 11 will go straight onto the xbox or couch.

Friday is dole day, my friend. Nothing motivates movement like free money.

Out of curiousity, I will be ferrying voters around on Friday in the minibus but I don't have seatbelts on all the seats, is that OK? The tax is up too but I'll be able to talk my way out of that as it should be mainly local guards I'll meet.

Well, some of it anyway! Friday seems the worst day of all for it to be given out in the first place, but that's an argument for another board.

They'll still be running buses from the nursing home to the polling station as usual.

Its dead handy nowadays. One time you'd have to make sure you parked the van+ ladders well out of sight if you were signing on or collecting.

hope they are not FF, I'd lock them up for the day

Fianna Fail people by nature tend to look after their elderly loved ones rather than dump them in 'nursing' homes.

Cars,Umbrellas. Most people live around corner from where they will be voting,so no shouldnt deter people from voting. However might start out slow morning with it being dull

How do we go about organizing The National Bingo Championships? This will certainly keep the die hard Fianna Failers away from the voting stations...
