Does anyone know how much you get paid for correcting JC papers?

    Thanks!

I think it depends on a number of factors.
    amount corrected.
    level corrected Higher/Ordinary etc.
whether there is course work involved.
whether it i junior or leaving cert.
    etc.

Have you gotten selected? I was a first time applicant and have not heard back yet. I presume that at this stage that means that I wasnt succesful this year.

I got a letter off the SEC today saying I was on the reserve panel for corrections. Does anyone know what are odds of getting work off of this? I presume everyone that is unsuccessful is put on this panel as a backup

It depends on the subject. If it's a subject with a high take up (english, irish, maths, cspe, history, geography, science etc) you're in with a chance. If it's a minority subject there's less chance.

Depends how far down the list you are! People always drop out for various reasons or get 'bumped' up to higher levels or Leaving Cert. Mightn't be any harm to ring and ask how many more are on the list.
