Ok so i have made a bit of a **** up. moved address a couple of years ago and had been fairly certain that i had sorted everything out with regard to my polling card address etc. So i had been waiting for mine to arrive at my address only to find out that one has been sent out to my parents address instead.

Is there anything that can be done at this late stage to sort something by Friday so that i can still cast my vote???

you can vote in your parent's constituency.

Too late to make changes now.

But also go to checktheregister.ie to double check where you are registered.

Thought so. Ah well looks like i'll have to take the day off and make a treck to my folks to pick up my polling card and vote there.

    Thanks for the reply Rooster.

I suppose it wont matter much as you will still need to travel to the constituency to vote but you do not need the actual card once you bring appropriate ID so you dont need to collect it

    EDIT:

just in case you can check here to see if you are on the register where you live
