Dental question

Hi guys, had a absolute fecker of a toothache the past couple of days and managed to get an emergency appointment today. He looked at it (its a broken tooth, 3rd from back, bottom right) and put a wee thing in it, like a filling, and said that should keep the pain away. I've to go back next Thurs to get it taken out. My question is, this thing he's put in, will it keep the pain away for that long? and also, will it fall out easily? Kinda scared to eat at the moment!

    Cheers!

It is impossible to guarantee the tooth will not cause further pain. Try not to loose the tooth, make sure you talk to your dentist regarding this.
