    Hi.

Have a hotrod deluxe now a few years and its starting to die sound wise. The clean channel is starting to distort and its making nasty noises. Anyone recommend someone to have a look at this. someone pro, not just some fella with a soldering iron and a knowledge of amps.

Im hoping its just the power amp valves that need replacing but if its the whole hall then so be it. Need someone to diagnose it first and then see where we go from there.

    All advice much appreciated.

    Jay.

When did you last change the valves?

Beyond that, I'd recommend Martin Nolan as an amp tech. Based in Beaumont in Dublin. Check the stickies or search his name for the number.

Also search against "Aladdins Amps" and "amp tech" for some more options.
