    Just adding to it

    Baltimore Ravens
    Ravens franchise NT Haloti Ngata
Ravens re-sign P Sam Koch to five year deal
Re-signed probowl kicker Billy Cundiff to five year deal.

    Speculation.
RB Willis McGahee due to earn $6 million this year. Expected to either restructure or be cut. Few if any teams would trade, not for that contract

Possible that strong safety Dwan Landry may be cut. Nothing certain yet

The next biggest move for the Ravens is Jared Gaither, tackle. Out last season with a back injury and got woeful abuse from the message boards with comments on possible faking
If he returns or not will have a big impact on FA pickup or draft strategy for the Ravens. I for one would welcome him back

Backup QB Mark Bulger is a UFA. Expected to walk and may pick up a starting job, Cardinals maybe?

    Miami Dolphins

Looking like the Dolphins will not be tagging NT Paul Soliai and will take their chances on getting a long-term deal done for Soliai before Free Agency starts.

Miami seem unwilling to tag Soliai becuase it means giving him 12m for 1 year, which is crazy money. But Soliai was awesome last season and we cant afford to lose the anchor of our 34 defense.

Soliai will be a wanted man, so the Fins will have to pay him well if they want to keep him. I think they will eventually, but they are playing hard ball at the moment.

Local media in Miami are also reporting that TE Jeremy Shockey may land with the Fins. His agent Drew Rosenhaus is located in Miami and will make a call to the Dolphins Front Office. Shockey also attend the U and the Fins have little more than noting at the TE position other than Anthony Fasano.

Also heard a rumour on ESPN that WR Plaxico Burress wants to play in Miami because he wants to be near his home in Miami.

According to Adam Scheffter, Jeremy Shockey has passed a medical with the Dolphins and is close to signing.

    Raiders have Franchised Kameron Wimbley

As expected, the Jaguars have franchised TE Marcedes Lewis.

Also, Al Davis in all his divine wisdom has seen fit to pay Stanford Routt 10 million a year for the Raiders.

    The Raiders ;)

The Browns traded him for a 3rd pick last year

I was expecting them to franchise Zach Miller, the Tight End

My bad, forgot he was a Raider.

Surprised about Miller also. Probably one of the best all round TE's in the game. Will get a nice contract when he hits the market (assumeing the Raiders dont re-sign him before then)

Bob Sanders has met with four teams. Jacksonville and Buffalo are two mentioned. Other two are un-named... for now.

The Jets have a lot of work to do if/when the cap is reintroduced.

    They've made a start
Jets will release defensive tackle Kris Jenkins, outside linebacker Vernon Gholston, offensive lineman Damien Woody and defensive end Jason Taylor.

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/28/jets-cutting-jenkins-gholston-woody-taylor/

Kris Jenkins has missed huge time over the last two seasons. He went off injured in the first game this season.
But still at 31 I think some team will sign him. He's not done yet

Gholston was the 6th pick in the 1st round in 2008. He's only 24 and getting cut. Bust! Maybe he can save his career

Not sure if the Jets will keep both Braylon Edwards and Santonio Holmes. I'm a big admirer of Holmes.
He's clutch and came across as a real leader during the Hard Knocks series, helping out the rookies. Doubt the Jets would let him go though, we'll see

I wouldn't be surprised if Jason Taylor retires.

Belichick absolutely loves Jason Taylor, unless he is completely done there is a place for him in New England. Much like there was for Junior Seau for a couple of years.

Not really a shocker... he was due $10.5 million!! I wouldn't be surprised to see him re-signing there.

Shaun Rogers signs for the Saints, and the Seahawks have released Nate Davis (which is a shame, always thought things would work out a lot better than they have for Davis).

If the Jets take him on I'd be surprised. Well too injury prone as of late and is getting on in years.

Sanders signs on a 1 year deal, no real risk with that. Delighted with this move. Hopefully AJ Smith knows now you need to splash into the FA market to win the Super Bowl.

If he can stay fit, they've got themselves a real bargain.

Eric Weddle and Bob Sanders would make one hell of a Safety combo. Heres hoping Bob can stay fit, but you have to wonder just how much those injuries have taken out of him. May not return as the same player he was.

Sorry to see him go, but really he had to. The guy could have been great. Shame.

Like a car parked in a garage not putting up mileage of he could stay fit he could have a breakout return season in California ...he definitely is filling a real need in San Diego
