Why does the tax office need my P60 info for MED1 claim?

    I don't understand it. Surely they should have all the information that's on the P60?

    The details are on the p35 of the employer which, if filed on ros, are not due until tomorrow so your employer might not have filed it yet. In this case, the revenue will need ur p60 to process a med 1 claim

    is there a certain point after which the renenue have all the info?

    also, if submitting a 2008 claim today would i need to provide details on income on the form or should they have all the info?

    it depends on when the individual emploer files their p35 and how quickly it is processed by Revenue, no way of knowing how long exactly it wil take.

    For 2008 they will have the details. You should register for paye online, it is much quicker than sending in a med 1 by paper
