BTEA Allowance and Repeating a year at college

    it looks like ill pass my year but a question that came up in conversation today with some class mates was what happens if you're on BTEA allowance and you fail your 1st year.
    are you eligible for BTEA allowance if you have to repeat your 1st year or any year for that matter?

    1.12.7 Repeat years:
    BTEA participants who have to repeat a year of their course will continue to be paid the allowance for the repeat year. This is provided that the BTEA participant is registered and attending as a FULL-TIME student for the repeat year. Repeat students who register as external students, exam only students or part-time students for their repeat year are not eligible for the allowance.
