This now seems possible. Probable if the momentum keeps up.

I for one would welcome some Government stability and freedom for the incumbents to make tough decisions over the next 5 years.

But what do you think ?

    Good or no ?

I don't believe it'll happen, but I'd like to see it, with Labour as the main opposition party. Then we could have actual grown-up left-right politics, like a real country.

I really cannot see it either

I have gone through the constituencies and just cannot see where 83 TDs would come from, I do no think they have enough canidates in the right places to do it

I think they will get mid 70s

I didn't think so but its looking more possible now and to be honest I was going to vote Labour but the intervention of the Unions has put me right off.

Things are going to be bloody awful in this country for the next 5 years so we need a stable Government without Unions.

    FG + 6-7 indos I reckon.
I dont see a FG labour Government at this stage.

Doesnt make feck all difference I think.
Whoever gets in wont last any more than 18-24 months.

It's all local politics. (Not saying its a good thing)

The only reason it is more apparent with the indos is the indos wanted to make it more apparent to help their cause again.
Do you not think FF and FG will have TD's who are very eager to please the local voter who got them in in the first place?

I'd rather see FG and a few indos than FG and Labour to be completely honest.
