hey, i graduated from nuig a year ago, currently working on a contract basis which will be ending in the next few months so im thinking about going back to do a masters in something that will give me some more technical skills. my undergrad was commerce which iv found is pretty difficult to get anything with especially if you gave up on accounting at an early stage (like me). iv been looking at e-commerce or informations systems management as potential choices but the prospectus doesnt give much info into exactly what the technical aspects of these courses are. can anybody give me an honest account of either course and if they are worth doing??

Hi i'd recommend the ISM as its better than the e commerce. Its basic enough technical skills involved in both courses but the ISM would have slightly better modules and is way better run and organised. The technical subjects include Visual Basic, SQl, html and ISM do java. Their is also some use of Visio and Visual Paradigm for drawing diagrams.
