Bluetooth problem iPad

So I paired my blackberry storm2 to my iPad this afternoon. Both devices asked me to confirm the pin code and I did so but while my bb lists the iPad as paired and connected the iPad says it is paired but "not connected"

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

When it comes to transferring files/music from a Mac through bluetooth theres no problem but Apple
have a thing about users being able to transfer anything at all via bluetooth on its portable devices.

To date i dont think it will allow you to share files through bluetooth between iPhones, iPad's or with
an iPhone and any make of phone. To the best of my knowledge the only thing you can connect to an
iPhone via bluetooth is a wireless headset for calls or wireless headphones for music. A file sharing
medium is not built into the operating system.

I dont have an iPad so i couldn't be sure but id say thats whats going on here. Your being restricted
because they don't know how to 'talk to each other'

iOS only supports a limited number of profiles, the two audio and one for the Nike runners (I think).

Your BB is expecting a different profile from the iPad, possibly dial-up-networking, which it doesn't support. The iPad is expecting the BB to provide audio services, which I doubt it can.
