itunes not listing any artists

My itunes software is opening up as normal but no artists will show up on the screen. If I type in the name of a group, their songs show for a few seconds an then that part of the skreen goes blank. My broadband connection is fine. Any ideas what is going on?

I forgot to mention this is only happening when trying to view the itunes store. My own music shows as normal.
