What the bloody hell are they at? I hadn't realized it had started back and someone told me that it had been on. I've checked RTE player and I appear to have missed a few episodes. There was none on last week that I could see, none this week and I don't see any scheduled for next week. Can anyone update me with what their grand scheme is?

First they dont even publicise the fact that it's on.Then they stick it on at 12 at night. To cap all that they seem to have pulled it after showing only two episodes.Shower of fcuking muppets!

Sky Atlantic are going to be showing the next season. I'm sure they'll give it a time slot that it deserves and put it on at a decent hour.

And the irony in that is if you can get Sky Atlantic the purpose of it being on in a good timeslot is almost surely defeated anyways.

Without sounding too much like an ivory tower bomb thrower, it's been a good long time since timeslots mattered to me. I'd only wish RTÉ (and indeed most uk channels) would archive the shows they have no intention of ever releasing on disc better online. The timelimits on RTÉ's homegrown shows serve little purpose and even in cases like Mad Men seem somewhat penal, but who knows how their rights contracts are worded.

Well it obviously matters to some people or there wouldn't be so many posts complaining about it.
It isn't ironic either. I presume what you're saying is that you can Sky+ it and watch it whenever you want. How about people that have a standard Sky box? Say, for example, Sky Atlantic have it on Monday night at 9pm. People can now watch it on Monday night, and go to bed earlier, instead of recording it and watching it later in the week, if they so wish.

Mad Men will be released on DVD.

Calm down peoples, it's available on Amazon on 28th March!

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mad-Men-Season-4-DVD/dp/B00426DIN4/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1298388956&sr=1-1

Like you all, I was annoyed when RTE stopped screening it. So I recorded most of it on BBC 2.

However, I'm still buying the box set, it's so worth it!

    Are you serious?

I was just thinking, we pay our TV licence fee....for what?

For the privelege of not being able to watch Mad Men.

    Amazon gets my money so!

(And I still end up having to pay the TV licence)
