Guys I'm having difficulty getting into the webmail for any of my sites/domains

I don't usually use it but I wan to log in and make sure there is nothing there that I have missed or do not know about.

When I use the link in the CP or through webmail.domain.com - when I log in, it download a php file to my computer and nothing else happens. I'm using google chrome.

Is there another way to do this?
    Thanks

The webmail is currently not compatible with Chrome and I believe it has issues with Safari (though this may be limited to certain themes)

The technical team have been looking into upgrading it, but are trying to do so with minimal issues.

We don't have an ETA on when this upgrade will take place yet

So as I imagined, in my post last week, it is a common problem:

So Blacknight obviously need to get to work on fixing this situation.

I don't mean to be a stuck in the mud. I like Blacknight and want them to do well. But this malarkey with webmail needs to be brought into the 21st century. Arguably the whole control panel needs to be brought into the 21st century.
