Libya, Its no roll over Egypt that's for sure. But if you are a Dictator surely he is following all the best rules to keeping yourself in power.

Shoot everyone who disagrees for a start. I'd probably do the same myself.

On an international scale I would use the word "discussions" but really I'd be shooting them.

If you were a dictator would you not do the same? Or would you have a better way to keep your dictatorship? There are benefits etc.

    If I were a dictator.. 76 votes

    I'd shoot them all.

I'd use harsh measures to keep the peace.
    27% 21 votes
I'd listen to the people, and then shoot them that are bad to me.
    15% 12 votes
I'd load all the countries money into me plane and get the hell outta there.
    19% 15 votes
I'd but silver as it it is a good investment.

Rule 1: Shooting people makes people protest.
Therefore, shoot people at a protest.
Gaddafi may end up in a noose at the end of this

I think the secret to effective dictatorship is a good distinctive wardrobe. Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Franco, all had striking wardrobes. Check out Gadaffi when he's haranguing everyone but him at the UN. He's catwalk ready.

    Dictators gots to be pimpin.

They are very brave people going on the streets against gadaffi's army armed with rifle's and machine guns.

Just compare that to us not even wanting to get out on the streets incase we lose a days pay or get wet!!

Just as well most of us got rid of our guns when the license fee went up to 80 euros and the application form became 5 or 6 pages long. or we'd be in with a chance of having a successful riot

Drop the Colonel and become General.

Copyright any reference to the crispy frying of boneless meat so as to hint at punishment of a most horiffic nature, not finger lickin' goodness.

Just saw on France 24 that there are unconfirmed reports that Gadaffi has gone to Venezuela. Being reported elsewhere as well.

    I think it provides perpective.

Libya: Police brutality = 200 shot dead
Ireland: Police brutality = a few people getting hit on the legs with a baton.

Libya: Worst politician = power mad brutal dictator
Ireland: Worst politician = White colar criminal

If you want perspective, lookup pol pot or "the great leap forward" China.

Butting silver? It makes perfectly cromulent sense. And lets be honest, who does like them that are to be bad to I?

Anyone else think that Gadaffi looks like Robert Downey Jr would look like if he fell off the wagon?

Listen to everyone, anyone you personally disagree with after they express their concerns and how they think you can fix the issue... invest in a secret police who shoots them.

I generally look at things a bit differently to most people. I remember one time back in school we were watching a documentary on Jonestown and the mass suicides of nearly a thousand people. At the end of the video while everybody else was just like 'F***ing hell', my response was "That man was an absolute genius". They looked at the needless deaths, but I looked at Jones' ability to play on people's hopes and fears, his ability to manipulate them, and to turn them into loyal followers who hung on his every word, revering him.

When I look at Geddafi, I see one of the most commanding figures in history. The man took control of an entire nation at 27 years of age for Christ sake. He went on to rule for the next 42. A friend of our family's worked in Libya for years, and always had some very interesting stories about Gaddafi. Ever since then, I've been fascinated by him. He's bat**** crazy. A real life movie character. I mean look at him now, rather than lose power, he's massacring his own people and calling in truckloads of mercenaries. He's living out the final scene from Scarface. He's doing it his way, the only way he knows - fighting like a man possessed and attempting to force his opponents into submission. Maybe he won't survive this, maybe he's going to be overthrown, but one things for sure, he's fighting to the death. At nearly 70 years of age he's as power hungry as ever, the man was born to lead.

So yeah, to be in keeping with who Gaddafi is, you'd have to shoot the lot of them :)
