I'm thinking abut joining WW in clontarf and I'm reading mixed reviews from threads on here about the gym.

What is the current state of the gym, equipment, trainers etc. Anyone currently a member here and would you recommend it?

Oh and what is the current price of joining?

Their pricing structure it's a JOKE in current climate. Many gyms are dropping prices and they are still 75 euro a month! For what? 50m Pool? Gym is overcrowded and you have to wait long time to do anything. Parking space is simply stupid. No stripes for cars, people parking in 3 car spaces with one car. And about 5 to 7 pm you will wait even 15 minutes on the road just to get in.

Best part is that even if you not attending you still pay. Even-more, you cannot cancel contract and you have to pay for whole 12 months. Facilities are old as hell and overall I've seen double the standard for half the price. Only difference is that they have big pool and others don't. Everything else is simply not impressive. Again prices are crazy and their tactics is simply to charge you a lot for a year and send you scaring mail if your Direct debit fails.

    Overall big ripoff.

Currently would avoid, in the process of leaving it at the minute due to poor equipment, lack of equipment and cost.

Its really not worth it at all and I've been a member for 6 or so years now.

You could try the Ben Dunne gyms. I haven't used them personally but I know people who have and they are happy with it:
