What's the best stain remover?

Hope this is the right place but I have this really stubborn stain on my favourite hoody. It's light charcoal colour exactly like this http://www.sublimeclothes.co.uk/shopimages/products/normal/th41291379609peter-marl-grey-frontTHUMB.jpg and the stain is on the left breast above the crest. It's been washed a dozen times and it's as evident as ever. It's basically a dark stain I don't know what from. The best way I can describe it is if you were to spill say a drop of Coke on it. It's a college rugby hoody and irreplacable. I don't really want to go through the hassle of trying product after product to no avail. Any suggestions?

The vanish stain remover bar rather than the spray works well for me. Hope you get it sorted, nothing more annoying...

+1 on the Vanish Bar, it's usually pretty good, i also threw a scoop of the vanish powder in to the wash as well for a bad stain - but if you've washed it that many times it might be 'set' into the fabric unfortunately.

Flip Tesco and Dunnes in Ennis don't do it. Typical:mad:

Don't wash it again until you've done some stain removing, washing it just sets the stain in more.

If you can't get the bar try the spray, but let it soak in for a while. Try spraying it, leaving it, rinsing it and then repeating until you can't see any difference.
Use COLD water for rinsing, not hot. Hot water sets the stain in.
