It's actually the worst town in North Tipperary I wouldn't go there.

Bus Eireann to Limerick and then hourly bus service to Nenagh

You could get the train to Limerick but the rail service to Nenagh is a joke

Is it easier to drive Cork - Limerick - Nenagh or Cork - Fermoy - Thurles - Nenagh? Which is the shorter route?

the better road is via Limerick now, with the new motorway. plain sailing all the way...

Yup, via limerick is a better road alright.

When you get to the outskirts of Limerick, follow motorway signposts for Dublin/M7.
Once on the M7, it should about a 25 minute drive.
The Nenagh exit is clearly signposted.

surely the best way from cork to nenagh is to go the m8 to horse and jockey then head through thurles to nenagh??

would take bout 35 mins (depending on traffic).
is the road from cork to limerick not a bad road?
