Is 85,000 miles a lot for an '06?

    I was looking at buying a 4 or 5 year old Ford Focus 1.6.
    I found a nice 2006 3 door model for a reasonable price but it has nearly 85,000 miles (134,000 kms) on it.
    Is that a lot? Does it matter much how much mileage is on a car as long as I get a mechanic to give it a good look over first?

    Not really. Make sure it has a verified full service history though. Have you a link??

    If it's 2006 shouldn't it have kph? If it has miles it's a UK import AFAIK. So make sure it has a service history. As long as it was serviced on time I would have no worries buying it.
