3G Jailbreak Problem.

    Howdy All,

    bit of a problem here.

    Tried to Jailbreak a 3G to a custom IPSW on 4.2.1 using Pwnage Tool and updating the baseband to 6.15.00 so as to facilitate an unlock.

    Unfortunately, the custom IPSW i created hacktivated that phone and thus there was no signal bars and no Wifi connectivity. So i created a new IPSW without the activate phone option ticked.

    So I went to restore the phone to the new IPSW and it goes to through the whole process of restoring and then at the very end i get an error in itunes and Russian Steve Jobs appears on the phone.

    I made the same mistake jailbreaking an iphone 4 awhile ago and the second jailbreak worked fine in that instance.

    Any ideas how to fix this?

    ya updated to the ipad bb so a restore wont work in itunes
    ya need to download a custom 4.2.1 ipsw and then shift or alt restore to that

    Yeah, I know that after ye update to 6.15 it has to be custom restore.

    I created a second custom ipsw just this time it wasnt set up to hactivate the phone.

    The phone seems to be stuck in recovery mode.

    Each time i throw it into DFU mode, using pwnage on mac and ireb for windows.

    And each time i do the custom restore the same thing happens. I either get error 1611 or 1015.

    Ive tried ireb and tiny umbrella to try and kick it out of recovery mode but each time it just reboots and then ends up there again.

    Has anyone experienced this at all, this isn't my first rodeo but ive been at this for hours and im getting a little bit worried...
