It shows a distinct lack of consideration for other posters since txtspeak can often be completely indecipherable and just a pain in the arse to read. You have a full keyboard in front of you and (hopefully) 10 digits with which to use it, it's not really all that hard nor does it require enormous effort to write correctly.

Using txtspeak is just pure laziness and if posters can't be bothered to post a message using (mostly) correct spelling and grammar then it probably isn't worth reading to begin with.
