The boards.ie poll is looking good, but i fear its not representative of the whole electorate.

So I'm asking all of you with older parents, grannies, granddads and older relatives - how are they voting. Are they voting FF? Or voting against them after all the damage they have done?

I asked my parents, grannies and grandads and their mates and they are all voting for the United Left and/or Christian Solidarity movement.

Yeah my granny doesn't even think they done anything wrong and my parents pull the "but who else is there" line when asked why would they vote for FF now.

My mother says she would vote for pearse doherty if he was in labour, thats about as far as she would go.

I don't know about my mother but my father won't be voting FF or FG. He's never voted for either and probably never will.

It's funny because he was telling me that my grandfather's family is all FF, going back to the civil war. Their Uncle was executed in the barracks in Limerick and as a result will still probably vote FF no matter what. The weird part is that my grandfather went down the socialist party path and wouldn't vote for FF or FG either and canvassed for Jim Kemmy back in the 70s.

My dad told me he has never voted FF in his life and has never not voted.
Also neither parent have never and will never vote SF.
Haven't a clue how the sister votes though.

Mother is a diehard Labour voter as are her parents, father will vote for whoever appears to be most pro-business. His mother has been a member of FF for 25 years, and has a framed picture of her with Bertie Ahern on her sitting room wall.

My dad told me he's thinking of voting SF because their "economic policies make the most sense".

I didn't even think he knew what trolling was.

New FF slogan "Up the bum ,no harm done"

Seriously though if my granny was alive she'd be voting FF that feckin' bus pass from Charlie secured her eternal loyalty to FF
