About five years ago i had cybersex with an seventeen year old that was from abroad,boobs where on shown on cam but nothing else,i didn't keep records of chat or pictures i wasn't that sort to do that,lost contact with that person,i think about this sometimes and feel sick and suicidal such is the shame,thinking police will show up someday even it was years ago,i was 22 at the time,how can i get over this?.

However, op, you're really beating yourself up over nothing. There's not a huge age difference between 17 and 22 and what she showed you could hardly be considered pornographic. If it's really affecting you, seek professional help.

Something just doesn't add up. Do you have other issues that are causing you to focus on this one event?

Legal age of consent is 17 so I'm [resuming it's legal. Would be pretty strange to be allowed have sex with her but to get arrested if she flashed her tits at you over a webcam.

I'm sure when you think about it logically you know that no one's going to come after you. It was the internet, it's not like you took her back to your house. 17 is legal anyway, and technically the only inappropriate (if you want to call it that even) thing that happened was she exposed her boobs to you on cam. That was her action and not your fault. She engaged in cybersex with you, you didn't force her or push her into it. Worse things happen at sea.

Hi,its when see programs like catch a predator it scared me how close to edge i was,even if they are legal age consent,i guess what freaked me out is all these laws they have in usa/canada,that person in particular,we fell out,came across their page by accident on fb,not going to contact them,as for counselling,would a counsellor understand?

Counsellors are there to listen. They don't judge. They just care how you feel about it.

also, she mightnt of REALLY been 17, the internet isnt the most truthful and honest place! nothings going to happen... dont worry OP...i know its easier said than done...but do try...and if your feeling suicidle, do please see a professional councellor. i was seeing one last year, and it was definitely money well spent

I remember reading something similar a few months back? I'd hate to think it's still eating you up.

You did nothing wrong and after 5yrs, there is no way the police will ever show up to arrest you. They didn't show up at the time, because what you did wasn't illegal.
